Max Joseph Hubert (Joseph) Delhees.
Joseph Delhees bezocht het gymnasium te Düren en studeerde rechten aan de universiteit van Bonn. Na zijn studie werd hij referendaris bij de rechtbank in Kleef. Vanaf 1868 was hij, in navolging van zijn overleden vader, burgemeester van Kaldenkirchen. Op 27 mei 1872 volgde hij zijn schoonvader als burgemeester in Breyell op. Het werd hem in katholieke kring zeer kwalijk genomen dat hij tijdens de "Kulturkampf" (1870-1880) pastoor Schumacher uit zijn gemeente gevangen liet zetten in Wesel.

In 1891 staat Hubertine Moubis in het adresboek van de pfarre (parochie) Schaag vermeld als Rentnerin (rentenierster). Zij woonde op nummer 6 in Schaag. Hubertine liet de parochie van Schaag bij testament haar huis na (nu Annastrasse 5 tegenover het oude "Moubishaus" in Schaag) waarin tijdens de nieuwbouw van de St. Annakerk de noodkerk ondergebracht werd. Dit huis diende later als kapelaans-, kosterswoning en jeugdhuis. Hubertines' graf bestaat nog steeds op het door haar gestichte kerkhof van Schaag.
